Build an infrastructure foundation you can operate and evolve
Connect Azure, on-premises systems and hybrid dependencies through a practical architecture and a controlled implementation plan.
When to involve us
Your environment has grown without a consistent design. A migration is approaching, operating systems need upgrading, connectivity is unreliable or recovery procedures have not been tested. You may also need an independent review before making a significant infrastructure investment.
Architecture and assessment
We examine the systems in scope, their dependencies and the requirements they must support. The assessment can cover resource organization, identity integration, network paths, administrative access, availability, monitoring and recovery.
The output is a prioritized set of findings and a target architecture that explains what should change, why it matters and how the change can be introduced.
Azure and hybrid modernization
Plan Azure resource structure, connectivity, access controls and operational ownership. Evaluate which workloads should move, which should remain in place and how services will communicate during a phased transition.
Implementation may include virtual networks, virtual machines, connectivity configuration, management controls and deployment automation. Existing application and licensing constraints remain part of the design.
Windows Server and core infrastructure
Modernize server environments and supporting services such as Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, file services, IIS and virtualization. Plan operating-system transitions around application compatibility, service dependencies and maintenance requirements.
Where an existing platform must remain operational during migration, define coexistence, validation and rollback before making production changes.
Networking and connectivity
Review hybrid connectivity, VPNs, routing, name resolution and access paths. Investigate failures that span multiple systems, including asymmetric routing and dependencies between network design and authentication.
Availability and recovery
Define recovery requirements for the workloads in scope. Review backup coverage, restoration procedures, infrastructure dependencies and the steps needed to return services to operation. Document and test agreed recovery scenarios.
What we deliver
- Current-state findings and a dependency overview.
- Target architecture and implementation priorities.
- A migration or upgrade plan with validation and rollback steps.
- Configured infrastructure and automation within the agreed scope.
- Operational documentation and knowledge transfer.
How the work proceeds
Discovery and requirements establish the baseline. Architecture decisions are reviewed before implementation. Changes are introduced in agreed stages, tested against acceptance criteria and handed over with supporting documentation.
Example engagement
An organization needs to replace aging servers while maintaining access to existing applications. The engagement identifies dependencies, defines the target environment and introduces a phased migration with service validation at each stage.
The final scope depends on the environment.
Frequently asked questions
Can we modernize without replacing every system?
Yes. A phased plan can address immediate risks and dependencies while preserving systems that still meet requirements.
Do you work with on-premises infrastructure?
Yes. Hybrid and on-premises systems are part of the service, including the dependencies that connect them to cloud platforms.
Does an assessment include implementation?
It can be commissioned independently or as the first phase of a wider engagement.
